Feminists fume at Neninthe
Feminists and female politicians raised their objection on the poster publicity of Puri Jagan’s latest film Neninthe. Women activist Sandhya, politicians Nannapaneni Raja Kumari and Ganga Bhavani strongly objected to scantly clad heroine being projected in poster designs. Their protest comes in the wake of eve-teasing and atrocities against women. The more they protest, the more it is going to help the publicity of 18 December release Neninthe.

Will ticket hike GO be issued?
YSR announced that he would be issuing a GO (Government Order) which will allow the exhibitors to hike the ticket price up to Rs. 50/- for upper stalls. However, the GO is not released so far. Neninthe – a big film- is all set to release on 18 December. And Neninthe is unlikely to receive this benefit. We have to wait and see if this GO will be released before Nagarjuna King’s release (24 December). A movie that is capable of collecting 10 crores in the first week will collected only 7 crores if the prices are not hiked.

Ashta Chemma Bhargavi murdered
Actress Bhargavi (Ashta Chemma fame) died at her residence (behind cancer hospital in Banjara Hills) today. Her dead body is found along with that of Bujji (supposed to be her husband/lover). There are injuries (eight knife marks) on the body of Bhargavi. But there is no sign of any injury on Bujji’s body. A poison bottle was found at the crime scene. A suicide notes was found. Cops are suspecting that Bujji has murdered Bhargavi before consuming poison.

King satellite rights sold for 4.8 crores

If the word on the street is to be believed, the satellite rights of Nagarjuna’s latest film King is sold for a staggering amount of 4.8 crores to Gemini TV. Gemini TV is said to have outbid MAA TV – co-owned by hero Nagarjuna – by a huge margin to bag King. King is all set to release on 18 of this month amidst huge fanfare. The King music launched in the market on 1st December is already become a chartbuster.

Neninthe on 18 December at any cost

Producer Danayya told idlebrain.com that Neninthe film will be released on 18 of December at any cost. There were rumors making around the market saying that the release is postponed due to the delayed return of Puri Jagan’s unit from Bangkok. This film sports Ravi Teja in the role of a struggling assistant director and it is said to have tremendous satires on the existing culture in Telugu film industry. Music of the film will be launched directly into market by Aditya music on 7 December.

Takita Takita is Bhumika’s film name

Takita Takita is the title of production venture of Bhumika Chawla’s home banner Downtown films. This film will be directed by Srihari Nanu who directed Satyabhama in the past. Senthil provides cinematography and Kona Venkat pens dialogues.

Trivikrama Rao is no more

T Trivikrama Rao, popular producer of yesteryears expired today. His debut film was Pottelu Punnamma. He made many films with NTR, Sobhan Babu, Krishna and Chiranjeevi. He made films like Justice Chowdary, Donga, Badri etc. He also produced many films in Hindi. The Telugu film producers counsel expressed condolences. May his soul rest in peace.

Kuberulu on 4 December

Kuberulu – a comedy film by Srinivasa Reddy is going to release on 4 December. It is coming with the tagline – veellaki anni appule. This film stars Sivaji, Ali, Krishna Bhagavan and Raghubabu in the main leads. Farzana and Kausha are doing female leads.

Dongala Bandi on 12 December

Allari Naresh’s latest film Dongala Bandi is going release on 12 of December. This film is being directed by writer turned director Vegnesa Satish. Tanya and Malishka are doing female leads. This film stars many comedians like MS Narayana, Venu Madhav, Kondavalasa, Kovai Sarala, Jai Venu etc. There are good expectations on this film on the wake of the success of Allari Naresh’s last film Blade Babji.

Srikanth - looks pale and dull in promotion of Nagaram

Srikanth had big ray of hopes on Nagaram with his full fledged mass appeal, his role had wide spectrum to give him biggest hit of his career, but director could not deliver goods properly which turned out to be a routine action and revenge drama between gangsters. Producer is promoting movie as much as he can with the help of Srikanth, both are together promoting the movie. He is seen in special programs on TV and saying on the highlights of the movie. When observed expressions on his face it looks pale and dull as the flick is flop. He has no option than to receive calls and answer audiences. They know that any amount of publicity is not going to change fate of flick at box office.

Telugu 'Jodha Akbar' was made fun by national channels

'Jodha Akbar' in Hindi had great response at box office with good performance by Hrithik and Aish inthe flick. Ashutosh Gowariker made 'Lagaan' has made another winning movie, this movie dubbed in Telugu. Both came to P V R Cinemas in Hyderabad to view dubbed version. A leading national TV channel, Star News transmitted a special program on this flick which had Hindi dialogues and corresponding Telugu dialogues too. Channel made some light hearted comments and made fun of Hrithik Roshan's dialgoues in Telugu.
